Drawing Classes

We are delighted to be able to offer you an ErinHill Sketching holiday right here at Maison de la Roche!

All the way from Sydney, the ErinHill travel sketching system has made its way to the south of France. Step-by-step and with plenty of laughter along the way, your tutor Annette will guide you through a whole new way of learning to "see" - capturing impressions and moments of time through line drawing and applying colour. You'll be creating your first great sketches in just about an hour - and you'll be amazed at what you can do! No previous artistic experience is required, so this is an ideal mini-break for beginners as well as those with previous art experience.

Beginners class results after just 3 hours!

These holidays are great fun and a fabulous way to really experience the Languedoc - you'll visit cities and markets, villages, cafés and, of course, some of our favourite restaurants. Sketch tuition starts in the morning and continues until just after lunch, leaving you free time to explore the area, go wine-tasting, have a massage - or simply do more sketching on your own!

The ErinHill sketch kit is required, which can be supplied on a loan or purchased on arrival. Please see http://erinhill.fr/sketch-workshops/sketch-kit for further details of the items required.

Notes: Some level of fitness is required as you may be walking for up to 2km per day.

Minimum number: 2, Maximum number: 5
Recommended sketch programme: 4 days/5-7 nights (approximately 20 hours tuition) But one day tuitions are available
