The Languedoc-Roussillon is one of the most fascinating areas of Europe, bordering the Mediterranean Sea to the east and the Pyrenees Mountains to the south. “We spent a wonderful 5 nights renting the Secret garden cottage with my family. The cottage was clean, beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well equipped. The courtyard off of the cottage was a very peaceful, quiet place to relax and the pool was great for the kids. Honor was an excellent and friendly host. She gave us lots of great suggestions for activities to do in the area.
Maison de la Roche was situated in a perfect location to do day trips of the area. We rented biked on the Canal du Midi, explored nearby villages, spent a day at Carcasonne, explored the cathar castle of Peyrepeteuse. We could have easily stayed longer as there is so much to do around the area. ”
