The Little Stuff

Now here is the stuff you may want to know but afraid to ask.

If we haven't covered it please don't hesitate to contact us

1. How big is the swimming pool? It is a gorgeous turquoise pool which is just over 9 metres long, (we do have heating for either end of the season ) There are steps at one end which is easier for younger children. We have pool toys and it is a safe distance away from the gites so as not to be too tempting to younger children!

2. What other things are there for children to do? If you can get them out of the pool, there is a massive trampoline with safety net, there is also one for babies too!. Not to mention the large number of toys, dressing up and games which are available to share in the playroom. In the village there is also the goat farm to visit and then there are the many many things to do in the surrounding villages. We provide a very detailed list of all the wonderful things there are to do here. We can organise all sorts of activities for you from kayaking, canyoning to sailing etc. Grown ups are welcome too!

3. We are a large group of friends who want to have neighbouring gites but still have our own space can you accommodate that? Yes, two of the gites are on the same first floor level and whilst share the same landing have separate front doors so you will be able to avoid your friends when you want!

4. Does the bathroom have a bath or shower? Our bathrooms which are all newly fitted with modern furnishings have spacious walk in showers, a loo and wash basin. If you have a baby and require a baby bath please just ask me.

5.Do you provide linen and towels? Yes (and your beds will be made up waiting for you!) we also provide bath and beach towels.

6. I only want to bring one outfit for the whole holiday is there a washing machine? Yes, the gites have their own utility room with washing machine and space for drying clothes

7. We are arriving really late and will be gasping for a cup of tea or maybe a glass of wine! Can we order a food basket? We are happy to organise a food basket for you. However we will provide you with a bottle of local wine and some bread and cheese  as a welcome gift.

8. Do you offer any meals? No, the gites are totally self catering and there is a gas hob, electric oven and microwave ( as well as kettle, toaster, coffee machine, fridge/freezer) Plus we have a nice restaurant a skip and a hop across the bridge in the village. For off season visitors looking for bed and breakfast we can provide a breakfast hamper contact me for more details. In the summer we often get together with all our guests and organise a BBQ.

9. I need to know the rugby score, can I get a newspaper? Yes, there is a newsagents in the local town that sells foreign papers, but you do have free WI-FI.

10. Is it cold off season? It can be, but there are electric heaters (which can be switched on for a small supplement) But trust us there are many a day when you can sit outside in the winter sun for lunch! In fact the Autumn/winter months are just as beautiful to visit then the summer for different reasons and we are often still swimming even in late October.

12. Is there a maid service? Yes he is called your husband . You are on holiday, get him to make the beds!! Seriously though, we do ask you to leave the gite as you found it, (clean, no rubbish etc, although you don't have to throw away any unused bottles of beer or wine, we can kindly dispose of those for you!) or you can order our cleaning service for the end of your stay, we charge a 60 Euro fee.
